Mary,
There was a reason that I decided to review your email posts today.
Your response to Belinda was so perfect and was the reason that I joined your “Tribe” a long time ago because I could not understand these types of comments from people.
I also have toyed with YTT, a passion since starting my Yoga Practice late in life in 2007 at the age of 60. Each time I begin to pursue the steps needed, and the last time was last summer so you are not toooo old, I also get waylaid by life, money, external demands and all the other excuses. But the Reality is just what you said. “Do I Really Want to Change???” How very, very interesting.
I would love to hear what your thoughts are now. Did you start a Tribe? If so I would like to join.
Once Again Thank You. You have touched my Soul Today with this post and the previous one about “Don’t Tell Me What to Wear” – I am my own Fashion Statement and intend on always being My Own. Altho I will try your Duct Tape Bra*** Too Much Fun and besides you can buy Decorative Duct Tape at the Dollar Store. I have rolls of Leopard Duct Tape!!!

Some people mistakenly believe that, which is sad. Yoga makes me a better Catholic because it quiets my very active body and allows me to settle into prayer. Here’s an essay I wronte on this topic a while back:

Hi Mary. I wish you well in your endeavor. I just want to share with you two statements on fear that I came Across recently and that really stuck with me. I hope they help.
“Fear is an anticipatory emotion.”
“Courage is fear that has said it’s prayers.”

I know you can find the courage to go after your yoga dream!
