She was strict and loved the English language. I was in your freshman English class. It was rather disheartening being in Sister Teresa’s class because these were the first words out of her mouth – “very few, if any of you will get a grade higher than a C. C is average and most people are average writers at best” If I recall correctly, you, Mary, were the only one on class who received an A. There might have been 1 or 2 Bs.
