We try to shy away from it. We try to avoid or at least minimize it in every possible way. But from various personal experiences I have always learnt that the storm won’t go without touching me and I won’t grow without going through the storm. So, when struggle comes, instead of trying to hide ourself, we should prepare for it well and pass through it to become a stronger human-being who can then help others in similar situations.
Thanks a lot Mary for this beautiful piece of work that will help many people while they prepare themselves to face their share of the storm in their lives.

What a challenge to consider how our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will look back to the ways in which we faced (or didn’t face) this pandemic! I don’t think that as a nation we sacrifice enough for those not yet born, for a future on a healthy planet. Sometimes, our small efforts don’t seem to make a difference, yet I have faith that they do.
