Um, name calling because you’re unable to make a valid point will get you thrown out of the comment section here. Go read my previous posts, starting with the one that quotes our pope at length — “Shepherds who live with the smell of their sheep.” Or better yet, read what the pope is saying because he’s saying the exact same thing but with more eloquence and the Chair of Peter behind him. I think, when it comes to picking sides, I’ll stick with Pope Francis thanks.

You never mention specifics, give us some examples of ‘not being fed’. The church is losing members because of it failure to teach the faithful, it’s the washing down of the faith by liberal bishops and priests that are the cause. I would recommend you watch Michael Voris, he is stop on. Stop being so self -centered and wining. Your adolescent attitude does not help.

No one wants to be “entertained.” We want to be fed, or at least be made to believe that our priest sincerely wants to walk with us, feed us, take on the “smell of his sheep,” as Pope Francis says. “Entertainment” is not my idea of worship. I’ve written about that problem in multiple books, and, frankly, I’m getting kind of tired of that one-note criticism of something that was never said. Let’s get to the real issues — and there are many, which is why we are hemorrhaging Catholics at a frightening rate.

I’m so sorry you had this experience. I hope things improve.

I understood maybe 50% of the words in his homily, but I couldn’t actually make out the meaning of any of his sentences.

I had hoped this new priest might bring some missionary zeal with him. If it’s there, it’s well hidden.

I’ll be contacting the parish about this. Maybe I can even cite the pope.

I think what threw your audience was the fear that such a dynamic and faith-filled woman might leave us!
