There was the time we needed to start <a href=\"https:\/\/notstrictlyspiritual.com\/2012\/12\/doesnt-everyone-start-advent-with-a-coin-toss\/\">Advent with a coin toss<\/a>, and the time I <a href=\"https:\/\/notstrictlyspiritual.com\/2012\/12\/covert-advent-operations-can-we-sink-any-lower\/\">canceled Advent as punishment<\/a>. Yeah, we like to keep things interesting. But, I have to admit that I get sort of melancholy when I read about those days. Life moves by so quickly, and, before you know it, opening the doors on a calendar just doesn&#8217;t hold the same fascination. Enjoy it while you can.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I talked with John Harper of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.relevantradio.com\/programs\/morning-air\">Morning Air Show<\/a> on Relevant Radio about celebrating Advent with children, young and old.
